IRIS is a Chicago-based jazz collective composed of Arman Sangalang, Kirby Fellis, Austyn Menk, Morgan Turner, and Paul Barrilles. The group was born out of five peers’ mutual desire to fuse jazz’s historic sub-genres with a more modern aesthetic. B Side Graphics egraphics.net/provided the CD cover, while I designed the layout for the rest of the CD. We wanted to make sure design on the front cover was also communicated throughout the rest of the CD, including the physical CD. I worked one-on-one with Arman Sanalang in order to make sure everything was being delivered on time to Shifting Paradigm Records.
