This website refresh was the most important project we were doing at that time and took president over other projects. We wanted to get the website live as soon as possible for potential clients to see. We were our own client, so we went through the steps that we did for other clients. We started with a competitor audit to see what design firms that were similar sizes to us and that had similar clients were doing.
MonogramGroup created a visual and copy strategy in order to keep the flow of the website consistent to what we wanted to communicate. Throughout this process, I worked directly with their creative team in order to get the site live in 4 months. During the process, I worked one-on-one with Senior Designer, worked on quality control, provided direction, and communicated with the developer.
Problem:
MonogramGroup’s website was not up to par compared to other design firm websites in Chicago.
Solution:
Create a more modern website that communicates to future clients that MonogramGroup is a trusted design firm.

We created an audit that highlighted what other design firms were doing with their websites. We had meetings to talk about what we wanted the look and feel to be and who MonogramGroup is. Throughout this project, we worked separately and together.
I was able to work with a designer who worked on the project and an account executive to gather context around each case. All case studies needed to be redone, including the mockups and copy, to fit the new theme of the website.
My main job was working on case studies. A major part of the website are the case studies. I had to find all of the assets we wanted to include in a case study. I worked on case studies from beginning to end. I had to research each case, since I was putting together the story.
